New show of Jurek Wajdowicz's prints concentrates on his work based on a geometrically informed approach to shapes, color, and light. It is the creative result of the artist's continuing dialogue with his cycles of "Liminal Spaces" and "Afterimages". In this exhibition, Wajdowicz investigates and deconstructs architectural spaces. He creates carefully shaped forms, exploring geometry and perceptions of perspective.
Wajdowicz's camera-based, semi-abstract works actively negotiate the space between photography and painting, as the intimacy and minimalism of each contemplative piece bring about an atmosphere of illumination, discovery, and meditation.
